Kickfund

Kickfund invests in Switzerland's most promising deep-tech startups that are winners of the Venture Kick competition, providing capital and strategic support to scale their innovations. The fund offers up to CHF 850,000 per company in co-investments, leveraging extensive community networks and expertise to foster growth within the Swiss innovation ecosystem. Kickfund Ventures Fund I secured its first closing at CHF 70 million in early 2024, with significant backing from anchor investors such as Ernst Göhner Stiftung and Gebert Rüf Stiftung. The fund aims to invest in up to 25 technology spinouts annually, building a diverse portfolio of approximately 100 companies, including Antefil Composite Tech. Wanja Humanes leads the organization as CEO, overseeing its strategy to identify and nurture high-potential ventures emerging from the Venture Kick program. Launched in early 2024, Kickfund extends the impact of the long-standing Venture Kick initiative, which was established in 2007.
