Jon Dishotsky

Jon Dishotsky is the Founding Partner at Daft Capital and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Through Daft Capital, he leads pre-seed, seed, and Series A funding rounds with check sizes ranging from $500,000 to $2 million, primarily targeting the climate, fintech, and health sectors across North America and Europe. Before launching his own fund, Dishotsky served as an investor at Giant Ventures and was the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the co-living startup Starcity, a Y Combinator alumni company whose global assets were acquired by Common in 2021. As an angel investor and Limited Partner in Y Combinator, he has backed more than fifty early-stage companies, resulting in multiple unicorn valuations and one initial public offering. His notable portfolio investments include Mercury, Remote, and Limitless, reflecting his ongoing focus on scaling high-growth technology enterprises.
