Leigh Honeywell

Leigh Honeywell is the Founder and CEO of Tall Poppy, an employee safety and cybersecurity company based in Ottawa, Canada. Prior to founding Tall Poppy, she accumulated over a decade of professional experience in computer security incident response across several major technology firms. Her previous corporate roles include running security incident response at Slack, protecting infrastructure at Salesforce.com, shipping security patches for Microsoft, and analyzing malware at Symantec. Beyond her corporate tenure, she served as a Technology Fellow at the ACLU and co-founded two hackerspaces, including HackLabTO in Toronto and the Seattle Attic Community Workshop. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Equity Studies from the University of Toronto. Her current focus centers on developing specialized software tools that help organizations protect their employees from online harassment and remediate their digital footprints.
