Marisol Sánchez

Marisol Sánchez is the Socio Fundador and Chief Operating Officer at Clupp, an insurtech company based in Mexico City, Mexico. Since July 2017, she has overseen claims processing and fraud detection for the Y Combinator-backed startup, which operates with a 12-person team from the accelerator program's Winter 2022 batch. In addition to co-founding Startup Protection in July 2024, Sánchez previously served as Presidente of the Asociación InsurTech México from March 2021 to February 2023. Her earlier professional career includes roles as a risk auditor at Fundación Dondé Banco, an insurance consultant at Management Solutions, and a data science professor at Instituto Artek. Sánchez also holds a bachelor's degree in actuarial science and applied mathematics from the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán, and her current focus remains on advancing risk management and insurance technology across Latin America.
