Mark Trevitt

Mark Trevitt is the Founder and Managing Partner at Defined and a Venture Partner at Tribe Capital, based in Vancouver, Canada. Before launching his $15 million venture fund in 2022, he spent nine years as a Partner at BDC Capital leading investments in artificial intelligence startups. His venture portfolio includes notable exits such as DarkVision, which was acquired by Koch Industries, and Bit Stew Systems, which was purchased by GE. Trevitt holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from IESE Business School, and he currently serves as a Board Observer at Inverted AI. He is also an Associate at the Creative Destruction Lab and a Kauffman Fellow. His current investment focus centers on deploying $250,000 to $1 million checks into early-stage enterprise infrastructure, developer tools, and generative AI companies.
