Markus Kressmann

Markus Kressmann is a Partner at High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) based in Germany, where he has been active in the venture capital sector since 2007. In his current role, he is responsible for managing a portfolio of 40 investments across the pre-seed and seed stages within the European Union and North America. He primarily targets early-stage companies operating in the Internet of Things (IoT), commerce, financial technology, mobile applications, enterprise software, and cloud technology sectors. Before joining HTGF, Kressmann worked as a business consultant at a leading management and technology consultancy firm, and he successfully founded two independent startup ventures. He holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Business Administration from the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. His professional background combines over a decade of direct entrepreneurial experience with extensive institutional investment expertise focused on scaling early-stage digital and technical innovations.
