Michael Kowalzik

Michael Kowalzik is a Venture Partner at Target Partners, where he focuses on early-stage enterprise technology investments. He brings over 18 years of executive and entrepreneurial experience across the telecommunications, internet, and high-tech sectors. Previously, Kowalzik served as the Chief Executive Officer of the tyntec group from 2004 to 2012, scaling the business into a global mobile interaction service provider, and founded two additional companies as CEO. His earlier career includes roles as an investment manager at Bertelsmann and Apollis, a joint venture between McKinsey and General Atlantic, as well as consulting on telecom and finance projects at Accenture starting in 1994. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Bremen. Today, Kowalzik leverages his extensive operational leadership background to advise and invest in emerging enterprise startups.
