Nate DaPore

Nate DaPore is the Managing Director at Acertitude and the CEO and Managing Partner at Roo Capital, based in Boston, Massachusetts. He has over 20 years of operational and investment experience in private equity and software, having previously served on the founding executive team at Benefitfocus before founding and leading PeopleMatter as CEO until its acquisition in 2016. DaPore also worked as a Managing Director at Battery Park, advising healthcare and technology portfolio companies on operational improvements, and currently sits on the boards of five private equity-backed firms. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College, where he serves as a trustee, and he completed the Liberty Fellowship program in 2017. His current professional focus centers on venture investing and executive search across the enterprise software, artificial intelligence, healthcare, and cybersecurity sectors.
