Paulo Silveira

Paulo Silveira is the CEO of Grupo Alura, an educational technology company based in São Paulo, Brazil. Under his leadership, the organization operates Alura Cursos Online, providing software development and programming training to hundreds of thousands of students across Latin America. Prior to his current executive position, he served as Executive Director at Caelum, founded the technology publishing company Casa do Código, and worked as an instructor for Sun Microsystems. His early career included software development roles at IBOPE and Commworld, which preceded his completion of both a bachelor's and a master's degree in computer science from the Universidade de São Paulo. Additionally, he previously held a Product Manager title within the broader Alura organization. Silveira currently focuses on scaling online education platforms to advance programming instruction and software engineering capabilities throughout the region.
