Pratyus Patnaik

Pratyus Patnaik is a Partner at Khosla Ventures based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he focuses on seed and early-stage investments in artificial intelligence and enterprise software. Before joining the venture capital firm in July 2024, he served as the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Replicate, an AI model deployment platform that raised over $40 million in funding and supported more than 100,000 developers. His earlier technical experience includes working as a software engineer at various startups and serving as an early contributor to OpenAI. Patnaik earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and was recently recognized on the 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list for his contributions to technology. His current focus centers on identifying and scaling next-generation developer tools, machine learning platforms, and AI infrastructure companies.
