Ramin Niroumand

Ramin Niroumand is a Partner and Head of Venture at Motive Partners in Berlin, Germany, where he leads the firm's early-stage investment arm, Motive Ventures. He began his professional career as a Senior Consultant in IT audit at Deloitte Consulting in 2006 before transitioning to an innovation role at DKB in 2013. In 2015, Niroumand founded the fintech company builder finleap, where he developed or invested in 15 ventures collectively valued at over €3 billion, including three unicorns such as Solarisbank and Element. He subsequently launched embedded/capital in 2022, which was acquired by Motive Partners in February 2023 to form the foundation of its venture practice. In his current role, Niroumand focuses on pre-seed to Series A investments across the North American and European financial technology sectors, specifically targeting wealth management, payments, and insurance distribution.
