Sanjeev Agrawal is a Managing Director at Battery Ventures based in San Francisco, California. Before joining the venture capital firm, which manages over $13 billion in assets, he founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of MoPub, an advertising technology platform acquired by Twitter for $350 million in 2013. He previously led Conduit Labs as Chief Executive Officer until its acquisition by WPP, following his graduation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science. As an investor, Agrawal has led more than 20 deals, including early-to-growth stage investments in companies like Sprinklr, which completed its initial public offering in 2021, and a $35 million Series B funding round for Protect AI in 2024. His current investment focus centers on enterprise software, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence infrastructure.
