Shariq Rizvi

Shariq Rizvi is a technology executive and entrepreneur who most recently served as the Executive Vice President of Monetization at Reddit. During his six-year tenure, he helped guide the social platform through its March 2024 initial public offering before departing in May 2024. Previously, he was the Director of Performance Ads and Engineering at Twitter, scaling advertising revenue to over $2 billion following the 2012 acquisition of his startup, Dasient. Rizvi also co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer of the cloud observability platform Netsil, which was acquired by Nutanix in 2018, and worked as an early engineer at Google. He holds a master's degree in computer science from UC Berkeley and a bachelor's degree from IIT Bombay. His professional background centers on scaling performance advertising technologies and enterprise software platforms through acquisitions and public market transitions.
