Sohail Prasad is the Founder and CEO of Destiny, an investment management firm providing public access to private technology markets, currently based in Austin, Texas. Previously, he was the Founder and CEO of Forge, a private securities marketplace that successfully went public on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker FRGE. Before establishing Forge, Prasad held various operating roles at prominent technology companies including Google and Zynga, and he studied at Carnegie Mellon University and the MIT Media Lab. As an active angel investor and Y Combinator alumnus, he has provided seed funding to more than 150 early-stage startups, a portfolio that includes over 10 unicorn companies. Recognized as a Thiel Fellow, Prasad maintains a primary focus on expanding retail investor access to the venture capital asset class and supporting early-stage, high-growth technology enterprises.
