Stephanie Zhan

Stephanie Zhan is currently a Partner on the seed and early-stage investment team at Sequoia Capital. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, where she was advised by artificial intelligence pioneer Andrew Ng. Before joining Sequoia Capital in July 2015, Zhan gained operational experience working as a Product Manager at Nest and an Associate Product Marketing Manager at Google. Throughout her venture capital career, she has made 33 recorded investments and led early funding rounds for prominent startups such as Linear, Middesk, Replicate, and Ethos Life. In addition to these investments, she currently serves on the board of directors for several portfolio companies, including Linear, Middesk, and Rec Room. Zhan focuses her current investment strategy on early-stage technology companies operating within the artificial intelligence, developer infrastructure, and software-as-a-service sectors.
