Taro Fukuyama

Taro Fukuyama is the founder of Fond and an active angel investor based in San Francisco, California. He previously held product management roles across the technology sector after studying computer science at the University of Washington. At Fond, Fukuyama built a software-as-a-service platform that currently provides employee perks and rewards programs to thousands of corporate clients, recently expanding its enterprise partnerships in the first quarter of 2025. As an angel investor, he has backed a portfolio of more than twenty early-stage technology startups, including recognizable companies such as Flexport and Navan. He recently spoke on employee retention technology at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 and participated in seed funding rounds for artificial intelligence-driven human resources tools. His current focus remains on scaling human resources technology solutions and funding early-stage software and consumer internet ventures.
