Terese Hougaard

Terese Hougaard is currently a Partner at the European venture capital firm Atomico. Prior to her current venture capital investment role, she served as a Partner at CapitalG, Google's growth equity fund, and worked as the Head of Marketing for Grasshopper, a coding education application designed for beginners. Her earlier professional experience includes working as a Product Marketing Manager at Google and holding various corporate business development and marketing positions at American Express. Academically, she earned an MPhil in Business Innovation and Strategy from the University of Cambridge's Judge Business School, a BA in English from Cambridge, and a BSc in Business Studies from Cass Business School. Hougaard leverages her extensive background in product strategy, consumer marketing, and financial services to identify and support emerging technology startups across the broader venture capital ecosystem.
