Tom Hacohen is the founder and CEO of Svix, an enterprise webhooks-as-a-service platform, and is currently based in the United States after spending nearly a decade in London. Under his executive leadership, Svix has secured $10.5 million in funding and received institutional backing from the startup accelerator Y Combinator. Prior to launching his current company, Hacohen served as a Senior Software Engineer within Samsung's Open Source Group until early 2017. During his tenure at Samsung, he contributed to the Enlightenment Foundation Libraries, which provided core infrastructure for the Tizen mobile operating system. His earlier technical background includes co-founding the Entrepreneur First-backed startup Rock, creating EteSync, and serving as a core developer for multiple open-source initiatives. Hacohen maintains a primary professional focus on building scalable webhooks infrastructure, improving developer experience, and advancing open-source software reliability.
