Sergio Furio

Sergio Furio is the Founder and CEO of Creditas, a financial technology company based in São Paulo, Brazil. He established the online credit platform in 2012 using his personal savings, subsequently scaling the business operations to 480 employees and securing $80 million in venture capital funding. Prior to launching his own enterprise, he served as a Vice President in investment banking at Deutsche Bank and worked as a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group in New York and Madrid. Furio holds MBA degrees from both Cornell University and ESADE, and he is an active angel investor who co-founded the Brazilian Digital Credit Association to support the regional early-stage startup ecosystem. His current professional focus centers on expanding digital credit access across Latin America while leveraging his extensive background in retail banking strategy and corporate finance.
